Punch Base is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sugar, 2 1/2 c. water, 3 tsp. vanilla, 2 tsp. almond and 1/2 c. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

The ingredients make 1 quart of punch base.
Add 5 parts of lemon-lime, ginger ale, or whichever carbonated drink you prefer. Can be diluted with water, or can dilute with combination of both, depending upon what you are serving.
Can be frozen ahead of time. Thaws quickly.
Pour over ice.
