Pumpkin Pie

Made with 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice (or use 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ginger and 1/4 tsp. cloves), 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 c. pumpkin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Oven at 375Β°.
Mix sugar, flour, spice and salt in a 3-quart mixing bowl.
Add the pumpkin, milk and egg and stir until smooth.

Bake 40 to 45 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean 2-inches from edge. Serve warm or cold.
One pie serves 6.
