Combine first 6 ingredients; set aside.

Combine sugar and eggs in a large bowl and beat at high speed with mixer until light and fluffy.

Add oil, vanilla and pumpkin until blended. Gradually add flour mixture until blended.

Add flour mixture, beating at low speed.

Pour batter into 9-inch tube pan.

Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.

Cool in pan 10 minutes.

Remove from pan and let cool.

Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
