Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/4 c. shortening, 3 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 2 c. pumpkin and 2/3 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease bottoms only of loaf pans.
Mix shortening and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, water and pumpkin.
Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix in chopped nuts and raisins, pour in loaf pans.
Bake approximately1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
Remove from pan and let completely cool before slicing.
