Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 1/2 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 2/3 c. chopped nuts and 2 2/3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour; measure.
Add baking powder, soda, salt and spices; sift together.
Add nuts and fruit; toss lightly.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, one at a time, then add pumpkin. Add flour mixture and water; mix thoroughly.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour, or until done.
