Pulao(Pilaf)
Pulao(Pilaf) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. basmati rice, 2 tbsp. oil, 3 green cardamon, 2 cloves and 3 peppercorns, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Wash the rice twice and leave aside.
Heat the oil in a pot. Add cardamon, cloves and peppercorns.
Fry for about 1 minute. Add rice and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
Add salt and water; lower heat.
(At this point, you may add chickpeas or green peas if you wish.)
Cover and simmer over a very low heat until water has evaporated.
