Prune Spice Bread
Prune Spice Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pitted prunes, 2 c. water (from soaking), 2 c. sugar, 4 c. flour and 2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Soak prunes overnight, saving 2 cups water to use later.
Cut prunes into bits and cook prunes, liquid, sugar and oleo.
Cool. Sift flour, salt, spices and baking soda.
Add beaten eggs and sifted dry ingredients to cooled mix.
Pour into 2 greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° , one hour.
Yields 1 pound size loaf.
