Beat sugar, butter and eggs together.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture alternately with sour milk and soda.
Mix well, then add prunes.
Pour into greased pans.
Bake at 350Β°.
Cool; put together with the following filling between layers and on top and sides.
