Prune Cake
Prune Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3/4 c. butter, 2 scant tsp. baking powder, 1 c. plain flour and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream butter, salt and sugar; add eggs, 1 at at time.
Add 1 cup flour, beating after each addition.
Also add to flour, soda and baking powder.
Add flour alternately with buttermilk and vanilla.
Add spices; beat.
Add prunes.
Bake in 2 pie pans, greased and floured, or greased wax paper.
