Prize Cookies
Prize Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 3 c. unsifted flour and 1 t. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Pre-heat over to 375Β°.
In large mixing bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Stir together dry ingredients gradually add to shortening mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in mincemeat.
Drop by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Cool.
Frost if desired.
