Pretzel Torte
Pretzel Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. sugar, 2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels, 1 large can cherry pie filling and 8 oz. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add sugar and pretzels; blend lightly.
Reserve 1 cup for top.
Press remaining mixture in baking dish.
Fold whipped topping into blended cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Spread 1/2 the cream cheese mixture on crust, then cherry pie filling, then remaining cream cheese.
Sprinkle remaining pretzels on top.
