Pretzel Salad
Pretzel Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. crushed pretzels, 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 (8 oz.) cool whip and 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar in bowl.
Press evenly into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch lightly greased pan (Pam is okay).
Bake at 400Β° for 8 minutes.
Cool completely. With electric mixer, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until creamy.
Beat in Cool Whip.
Spread mixture over cooled pretzel crust.
Pour boiling water into bowl and stir in Jell-O until well dissolved.
Add strawberries to Jell-O and cool until syrupy. Pour over cheese mixture and chill for 3 to 4 hours before cutting into squares.
