Pretzel Salad
Pretzel Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. pretzels, crushed, 3/4 c. butter or oleo, melted, 3/4 c. and 2 tbsp. sugar, 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese and 8 oz. cool whip topping, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Spread pretzels on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Mix melted oleo or butter with 2 tablespoons sugar and pour over pretzels and bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Whip together the cream cheese and Cool Whip and 3/4 cup sugar.
Spread over cooled pretzels.
Dissolve strawberry gelatin with 2 cups boiling water.
Add 1/2 cup cold water and the sliced strawberries.
When cool and starting to gel, pour over the cream cheese layer and let set until firm.
