Pretzel Salad
Pretzel Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 2 large tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. coarsely crushed pretzels, 1/4 c. sugar (scant) and 1 stick melted margarine or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine the first 2 ingredients in saucepan.
Let come to boil.
Stir often.
Set aside to cool.
Mix the pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar and melted margarine together well.
Press into a 10 x 6 1/2-inch baking dish.
Blend cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until fluffy.
Blend in Cool Whip.
Spread over pretzel mixture.
Spread first mixture over all.
Chill several hours.
