Preacher Cookies
Preacher Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. cocoa, sifted and 2 c. oatmeal (uncooked), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan.
Boil for 3 minutes at a rolling boil.
Stir in cocoa, oatmeal, vanilla and nuts or coconut.
Beat well.
Working quickly, drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Cool 5 minutes.
Yields 3 dozen.
