Preacher Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. cocoa and 2 c. regular oatmeal, uncooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a medium sauce pan; boil 3 minutes.
Stir in cocoa, oatmeal, vanilla and nuts.
Beat well; working quickly, drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Cool 5 minutes.
Yields: 3 dozen.
