Pralines
Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed, 1/2 c. milk, 6 tbsp. butter (3/4 stick) and 1 1/2 c. pecans, roasted (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine all ingredients and bring to soft-ball stage,* stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir until mixture thickens, becomes creamy and cloudy and pecans stay suspended in mixture.

When using wax paper, be sure to place newspaper underneath as hot wax will transfer to whatever is beneath.
