Pralines
Pralines is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) box light brown sugar, 2/3 c. water, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/4 stick margarine and 1/2 lb. pecan halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook sugar, water, salt and margarine to soft ball stage (236Β°).
Stir in pecans and remove from heat.
Beat until right consistency and drop onto waxed paper.
(Newspaper under waxed paper makes the pralines come up easily.) Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.
