Made with 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. half-and-half, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. chopped pecans, toasted (optional) and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
