Praline Pound Cake
Praline Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, softened, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 (16 oz.) pkg. dark brown sugar, 5 eggs and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cream butter and shortening; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, baking powder and soda.
Add to cream mixture, alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Dredge pecans in remaining 1/2 cup flour.
Stir pecans and vanilla into batter
Pour into 2 greased and floured 10-inch tube pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes.
