Praline Pecan Crunch
Praline Pecan Crunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. original or cinnamon quaker oats, 2 c. pecan pieces, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar and 1/4 c. margarine (1/2 stick), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 250Β°.
Combine cereal and pecans in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Set aside.
Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and margarine in 2-cup microwavable bowl.
Microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir and microwave 1/2 to 1 1/2 minutes, until boiling.
Stir in vanilla and soda.
Pour over cereal mixture.
Stir to coat evenly.
Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
Spread on baking sheet to cool. Break into pieces.
