Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. plain flour, 6 eggs, 1 tsp. baking powder and 2 tsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Have butter and lemon juice at room temperature.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
Mix sugar and butter together until smooth.
Mix baking powder and flour together.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, into butter-sugar mixture.
Sift a little of the flour mixture over the butter-sugar-egg mixture and stir it in.
Continue doing this until flour mixture is used, beating well after each addition. Add lemon juice last and mix together.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
