Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. margarine or butter, 3 c. sugar, 6 large eggs, 3 1/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour tube pan.
In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter with electric beater at medium speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each egg.
Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla.
Beat 3 minutes.
Pour into tube pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
When done, cake should pull away from side of pan.
Cool 15 minutes on rack before removing from pan.
