Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. margarine (do not use whipped or diet), 1/4 lb. butter, 3 c. sugar, 3 1/2 c. cake flour and 5 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream margarine, butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add half the flour and half the milk.
Mix well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add remaining flour, salt, vanilla and milk, mixing until light and smooth.
Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan or tube pan.
Place in a cold oven.
Heat to 325Β° and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan for 20 minutes; then turn out onto a cake plate.
