Pound Cake

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar well.
Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add alternately with milk.
Grease pan and line bottom with wax paper. Bake at 300Β° for 95 minutes.
Do not open oven until cake has baked for at least 80 minutes.
