Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, 1/2 c. crisco, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
Add flour which has been sifted with cocoa, salt and baking powder alternately with milk.
Add vanilla.
Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325Β°.
(Works well in a Bundt or tube pan.)
(Suitable for freezing.)
