Pound Cake

Cream together the margarine, shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time.
Add the vanilla, flour and milk; mix well.
Start in cold oven; bake at 325° for 1 hour, then at 350° for 30 minutes.
Do not open oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Makes one 10-inch tube cake.
