Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. crisco, 3 1/2 c. swans down cake flour, 5 tbsp. lemon flavoring, 2 3/4 c. sugar and 8 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix shortening and sugar.
Then add eggs, milk, flavoring and flour.
Beat at least 10 minutes on medium speed.
Batter will be thick in texture.
Dip into pan with a spoon.
Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes at 250Β°.
Grease and flour pan.
Makes an extra large cake.
