Pound Cake

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs. Add cake flour and vanilla; blend well.
Pour batter into lightly greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake in preheated 325Β° oven 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool 5 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired.
