Potatoes Au Gratin is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. diced potatoes, 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese and 1 c. rich white sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Select medium sized baking potatoes.
Scrub skins and bake in medium oven until tender.
Cool to touch.
Remove a slice from the top side; scoop out the inside, season and mash as for mashed potatoes.
Refill the shells, leaving the top of filling rough. Place in shallow pan in hot oven to reheat and brown the top. Serve very hot.
A bit of Cheddar cheese and/or bacon bits sprinkled on top is good.
