Potato Refrigerator Rolls
Potato Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. warm water (not hot), 1 pkg. active dry yeast, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 2/3 c. soft shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
Stir in sugar, salt, shortening, eggs and potatoes.
Measure flour and mix with fork. Turn onto floured surface.
Knead until smooth and elastic. Grease bowl and place in refrigerator.
About 2 hours before baking, shape dough into rolls.
Cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Heat oven to 400Β° and bake 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen medium rolls.
