Made with 4-5 medium potatoes, peeled & sliced, 1 large onion, peeled & sliced, 6-8 slices velveeta, 2 (10 oz) cans mushroom soup and 1/2 tsp salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a 9X13 baking dish, layer onions, potatoes, Velveeta. Repeat onions and potatoes.
Salt and pepper.
Pour soup over all and top with grated cheese.
(soup may be diluted with 1/3 cup milk.) Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Test potatoes for doneness.
