Potato Buns
Potato Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/3 c. instant potatoes, 2 c. scalded milk and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Soften yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
Measure sugar, shortening, salt and instant potatoes into a large bowl.
Add hot milk; stir to melt shortening.
Beat in eggs and 1 cup flour.
Mix in yeast and enough flour to make a soft dough.
Shape into ball and sit in warm place for 1 hour.
Knead on floured board and roll about 3/8-inch and make into desired shapes.
Let rise again to desired heights.
Bake in 350Β° oven for about 20 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen.
