Flour and fry pork chops in oil.
Set aside.
Spread rice in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Reserve 1 tablespoon soup mix and sprinkle the rest evenly over the rice.

Add enough water to mushroom and pimento liquid to make 2 3/4 cups.
Place pork chops on top of rice.
Pour liquid over meat and rice.
