Pork Chop and Onion Rice Bake
Pork Chop And Onion Rice Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 pork chops, cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick, 2 tbsp. lard or drippings, 1 c. uncooked rice, 1 envelope lipton onion soup mix and hot water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown chops in lard or drippings.
Spread rice in bottom of baking dish (13 1/2 x 9 x 2-inch).
Reserve 1 tablespoon of seasonings from envelope of onion soup mix and sprinkle remaining seasonings and bits of onion over rice.
Drain mushrooms and pimento.
Add hot water to total 3 cups liquid and pour over rice. Arrange browned chops on top of rice and sprinkle with reserved seasonings.
