Mix flour in sugar.
Heat milk in pot and when it boils add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until it thickens. Cool well.
When making poppy seed kolaches, instead of making balls, spread golf ball size dough out flat and oblong. Place about 1 heaping teaspoonful of filling in center.
