Poppy Seed Chicken
Poppy Seed Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 or 8 chicken breasts or 1 fryer, cooked and cut into bite-sized pieces, 1 c. sour cream, 1 can cream of chicken soup, salt and pepper to taste and 1 1/2 c. ritz cracker crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix soup, sour cream, salt and pepper together.
Beginning with soup mixture, layer soup mixture and chicken.
This usually makes 2 layers, depending on the size of your casserole dish.
Mix melted margarine and Ritz cracker crumbs and top the casserole with them. Sprinkle with poppy seed.
Bake 30 minutes at 350Β°.
