Popcorn Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/3 c. light corn syrup, 1/3 c. water, 1/4 c. margarine and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine sugar, water, butter, corn syrup and salt.
Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
Turn heat down and continue to cook without stirring until syrup reaches 270Β° to a full, rolling boil and a teaspoonful dropped into cold water forms hard, brittle ball.
Add vanilla carefully.
Pour syrup over popped corn; mix until all kernels are covered.
Grease hands with butter and dip palms in the popcorn.
Form into balls.
