Pop-up Bread
Pop-Up Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, divided, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. water, 1/2 c. milk and 1/2 c. oil (scant), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix together 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast.
Warm water, milk and oil.
Add to flour/yeast mixture and beat well with mixer.
Add eggs, salt and sugar and beat.
Add 1 1/2 cups flour and beat until elastic.
Pour into two (1 pound) greased coffee cans.
Put plastic tops on and let rise until it touches the top, 1 hour or longer.
Remove the top of the can (hence the name).
Let stand for 15 minutes on wire rack then remove from can.
Slice and enjoy!
