Poor Boy Fillet
Poor Boy Fillet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 lb. lean hamburger meat, 2 tbsp. onion, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. mushrooms, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. bell pepper, finely chopped and 2 tbsp. green olives, finely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Chop vegetables; set aside.
Panfry bacon and drain on paper towels; set aside.
Spread meat on paper approximately 7 1/4 x 11-inches about 1/4 to 3/8 inch thick.
Sprinkle with lemon pepper. Mix onion, bell pepper, mushrooms and olives together.
Spread over meat and sprinkle cheese on top.
Roll up meat from long side and cut into 5 equal pieces.
Wrap each with 1 piece of bacon.
Secure with a toothpick.
Place on grill and cook to desired doneness. Serves 5.
