Pony's Chocolate Pudding
Pony'S Chocolate Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 eggs, separated, 4 tbsp. cocoa (heaping), 2 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. flour and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In heavy boiler, combine flour, cocoa, sugar, egg yolks, milk and water.
Cook on medium heat until thickened; stir constantly. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
Put vanilla wafers in 2 to 2 1/2-quart ovenproof bowl.
Pour cooked mixture over vanilla wafers. Beat egg whites stiff.
Add 1/2 teaspoon flavoring and 1/2 cup sugar.
Spread on top of pudding.
Top brown in oven.
Watch carefully to keep from burning.
