Polynesian Hot Dog
Polynesian Hot Dog is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. franks, 1 large onion, sliced, 4 stalks celery, cut up, 1 large green pepper, cut up and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine syrup from pineapple chunks with water.
Add vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch and soy sauce.
Set aside.
Saute onion and celery in oil until hot, not brown.
Add franks, pineapple and sauce mixture.
Heat, stirring for 3 to 4 minutes until thick. Add green pepper (if desired).
Serve over rice or noodles.
