Pizza Crust
Pizza Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 (1/4 oz.) packet active dry or quick rise yeast, 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. very warm water and 2 tbsp. crisco shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Grease pizza pan.
In medium size bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, yeast and salt.
Add very warm water and shortening.
Mix until almost smooth by hand.
Gradually stir in the remaining 1 1/2 cups flour to make firm dough.
Cover.
Let sit for 15 minutes.
Roll out dough and press into pan.
Generously prick dough with a fork.
Prebake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges turn light brown.
