Pineapple Upside-Down Microwave Cake
Pineapple Upside-Down Microwave Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Line bottom of 9-inch round baking dish with wax paper.
Place butter in dish.
Microwave on High for 45 to 60 seconds or until butter melts.
Blend in brown sugar and half and half, stirring once.
Arrange pineapple slices and cherries on brown sugar mixture.
Add enough water to pineapple juice to make amount of liquid cake box calls for.
Prepare cake mix as package directs using diluted pineapple juice for liquid.
Over fruit in dish pour cake mix (batter).
Place on saucer in oven.
Microwave at power 5 for 6 minutes, rotating dish once.
Increase power to High for 3 to 5 minutes longer, or until center springs back when lightly touched.
Let stand for 3 to 5 minutes.
Invert onto serving plate.
