Pineapple Meringue Pie
Pineapple Meringue Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. can crushed pineapple, 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. flour, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 c. dairy sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine sugar, flour and salt in medium saucepan.
Stir in crushed pineapple, sour cream, egg yolks and lemon juice.
Then add pineapple syrup last before starting to cook.
Then cook over medium heat until mixture is thick.
Cover and cool to lukewarm.
Pour into baked crust and top with meringue.
Brown at 325Β°.
