Pineapple Crumb Torte
Pineapple Crumb Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. vanilla wafers, 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 c. soft butter, 2 eggs and no. 2 can pineapple, well drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Butter bottom of 9 x 9-inch pan.
Crush vanilla wafers and spread one half of them on bottom of pan.
Cream sugar and butter until smooth and light colored.
Beat eggs well and add to batter. Spread over crumbs.
Fold well drained pineapple into previously whipped cream, then fold nuts into this mixture, sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
Chill 12 or more hours in refrigerator, cut into squares when ready to serve.
