Pineapple Crumb Cake

Made with 1 large can crushed pineapple or substitute cherry or apple pie filling, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 2 sticks margarine and 3/4 c. chopped pecans (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix pineapple, water and sugar in a large baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix on top.
(Do not mix.)
Slice butter on top of cake mix.
