Pineapple Cake

Combine shortening, butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
Add flour sifted with baking powder.
Add small amount at a time, alternating with milk.
Add vanilla and pineapple (with the juice).
Blend well.
Pour into greased tube pan.
Place in cold oven, then turn on heat to 325Β° and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
