Pineapple Cake
Pineapple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sifted flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. butter or margarine and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Gradually beat in egg yolks.
Blend in vanilla and pineapple.
Fold in sifted, dry ingredients.
Rinse beaters and beat egg whites.
Beat until stiff; fold into batter.
Pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans, greased.
Bake in oven at 350Β° for 30 or 35 minutes.
Cool in pans for 5 minutes.
Frost with 7 Minute Icing.
