Pineapple Buttermilk Sherbet
Pineapple Buttermilk Sherbet is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. buttermilk, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 small can crushed pineapple and 1 small can pineapple tidbits, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine.
Freeze these ingredients until they are a slushy consistency.
Place in a chilled bowl.
Add 1 slightly beaten egg white and 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
While still slushy this should be beaten from front to back of tray to reduce ice crystals. Repeat, beating at 1/2 hour intervals.
Will give this the consistency of a course churn frozen water ice.
Remove from freezer to refrigerator about 20 minutes before serving.
May use sugar substitute.
